What we treat

From desk-bound necks to match-day injuries.

Most of our patients arrive with one of four problems. All of them start with the same thing: a thorough postural and biomechanical assessment.

Back & neck pain

Relief for acute spasms, chronic stiffness and posture-related pain, with treatment aimed at stopping it coming back.

Sports injuries

Assessment, treatment and return-to-play planning from physios who work with professional teams and athletes.

Post-surgical rehab

Structured rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery, paced to your operation and your surgeon's protocol.

Joint & muscle injuries

Sprains, strains, tendon problems and everyday niggles, diagnosed properly and treated hands-on.

2

Get properly assessed

Your first session starts with a full postural and biomechanical assessment to find the cause, not just the sore spot.

3

Leave with a plan

Hands-on treatment plus a realistic plan for between sessions, so you recover faster and stay recovered.

Our approach

Your full appointment, hands on.

Every session is one-on-one. You won't be left on a machine while your physio sees someone else.

Treatment is evidence-based and built around a simple goal: get you back to work, sport and life quickly, and keep you there.

Good to know

Before your first session.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Physiotherapists are first-line practitioners, so you can book directly. If your problem needs a specialist, we'll tell you and help you get there.

Can I claim from my medical aid?

Yes. We provide a detailed invoice with the practice and ICD-10 codes you need to claim. Check your plan's physiotherapy benefit before your visit.

How long is a session?

Your first appointment includes a full assessment, so allow up to an hour. Follow-ups are typically 30 to 45 minutes, all of it one-on-one.

What should I wear or bring?

Comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring any scans, X-rays or specialist reports you have, plus your medical aid details.

Where do I park?

Paid parking is available at the Sea Point Medical Centre and on the surrounding streets. Allow a few extra minutes at busy times. The practice is in Unit 206.
